Build network or use existing network to liaise with organizations
Supervise or coordinate with researchers and external consultants
Prepare project proposals; find channels and network for research work
Experienced and apt in qualitative and quantitative data analysis
Coordination with field level project staff and field planning for the team; liaise with government entity and stakeholders as required
Prepare qualitative and quantitative instruments, survey, questionnaire, analysis, etc.
Provide training or provide support to facilitators
Should be able to consolidate and prepare the dataset for quantitative data analysis and help in coding for qualitative data
Prepare draft and final report (Important), or summary of projects (should have previous experience in report writing for projects)
Visualize and support in the mission and objective of company in Bangladesh
Prepare financials/budgeting
Other as assigned
Responsibilities and Duties:
NOTE: We are only looking for Bangladeshi candidates with prior professional experience in research / monitoring and evaluation / English report writing
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent report writing in English and oral communication skills in Bangla and English; must have true passion for writing and not just for work purpose
Minimum Master’s Degree in Journalism, Development Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, or similar that is relevant in the development sector.
Minimum 4 years of ACTUAL experience specifically in the field of M&E, knowledge management, data analysis and/or social research
Experienced in data collection methods like survey, interviews, and field discussions
Self-motivated and able to visualize the growth of the company by themselves
Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting literature reviews
Good understanding of statistical data analysis packages – SPSS, STATA, R or similar
Digital data collection knowledge will be an added bonus skills
Should be open to travel to rural areas with basic amenities for validation if required
Able to multi-task handling different projects and work at the same time
Able to work efficiently within the stipulated deadline in a fast paced environment and communicate accordingly
Self-starter; should NOT be someone who needs to be told what to do
