Course Overview

IELTS, International English Language Testing System, is the worldwide recognized testing system that assesses the competence of the English language of an individual who wants to study or work in a country where English is commonly used for communication. IELTS is conducted by The University of Cambridge, The British Council, and IDP Education. However, it comprises four components (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking) and all candidates are to undergo them. Though reading and writing are quite different for the Academic and General Training modules, listening and speaking are similar for both modules. In addition, results are published on a nine-band scale for the overall language ability of four skills. Before sitting for IELTS Exam, candidates are to practice a lot to get a prospective score.
